WHEAT GRASS THERAPY

WHY WHEATGRASS IS KNOWN AS “GREEN-BLOOD” AND “POWERHOUSE OF NUTRIENTS”.?

Wheat grass therapy is also called as Green Blood Therapy because the chemical formation of the wheat grass juice has a striking similarity with the chemical formation of the human blood. Wheat grass is rich in chlorophyll and enzymes. It contains more than 70% chlorophyll (which is an important dietary constituent). The chlorophyll molecule in wheat grass is almost identical to the haemoglobin in human blood. The only difference is that the central element in chlorophyll is magnesium and in haemoglobin it is iron. The molecular structure of Chlorophyll in wheat grass and haemoglobin in the human body is similar, due to similarity between haemoglobin and chlorophyll wheat grass juice is called Green Blood. [5]

The pH factor of the
human “blood is 7.4. The pH factor of the wheat grass juice is also 7.4 that is
the reason why it is quickly absorbed in the blood. [12]

Three most important
effects of wheat grass on the human body are: blood purification, liver
detoxification and colon cleansing. Wheat grass therapy is recommended for
patients suffering from chronic diseases like Asthma, Atherosclerosis,
Parkinson’s disease, Joint pains, TB, Constipation, Hypertension, Diabetes,
Bronchitis, Insomnia, Eczema, Sterility, Haemorrhage, Obesity and Flatulence.
It is also useful in the treatment of cancer. [6]

THE PRESENCE OF 70% CHLOROPHYLL

Wheat grass juice is one of the best sources of living chlorophyll available today. It contains crude chlorophyll (as opposed to pure) and can be taken orally without side effects. Science has proven that chlorophyll arrests growth and development of unfriendly bacteria, is antibacterial and can be used inside and outside the body as a natural healer. [3]

Chlorophyll can be extracted from many plants, but wheat grass is superior because it has been found to have over 100 elements needed by man. If grown in organic soil, it absorbs 92 of the known 115 minerals from the soil. [3]

Wheat grass juice provides high level of oxygen like all green plants that contain chlorophyll. Our brain and all body tissues function at an optimal level in a highly oxygenated environment. Chlorophyll (wheat grass) is toxic free and rebuilds the bloodstream and returns the red cell count to normal within few days of the administration, even in those animals with extreme anaemia [4]

World-famous Dr. Ann Wigmore says, “Wheat-grass freshly made into drink contains chlorophyll which in turn contains synthesized sunshine, plus the electric current necessary for the revitalization of the body”, he continues that “chlorophyll can protect us from carcinogens like no other food or medicine can. It acts to strengthen the cells, detoxify the liver and blood stream and chemically neutralize the polluting elements themselves” Liquid chlorophyll gets into the tissues, refines them and makes them over. [5]

Dr. Bursher, another research scientist, called chlorophyll \’concentrated Solar Energy\’. He believes that chlorophyll increases the function of the heart, affects the vascular system, the intestines, the uterus and the lungs. He adds that chlorophyll (wheat grass) is a body cleanser, rebuilder and neutralizer of toxins. Wheat grass juice is great for blood disorders of all kinds. [6]

In the American Journal of Surgery, 1940, Benjamin Ruskin, M.D. recommends chlorophyll for its antiseptic benefits – to clear up foul smelling odours, neutralize strep infections, heal wounds, hasten skin grafting, cure chronic sinusitis, overcome chronic inner-ear inflammation and infection, reduce varicose veins, heal leg ulcers, eliminate impetigo, scabby eruptions, heal rectal sores, treats uterine cervix inflammation, get rid of parasitic vaginal infections, reduce typhoid fever, and cure advanced pyorrhoea in many cases. [4]

Wheat grass juice can also dissolve the scars that are formed in the lungs from breathing acid gasses. The effect of carbon monoxide is minimized since chlorophyll increases haemoglobin production. Liquid chlorophyll washes drug deposits from the body also gets into the tissues, refines them, and makes them over. [7]

WHEAT GRASS: THE SUPERFOOD, A NATURAL ENERGIZER

Wheat grass contains 98 of 102 earth elements found in soil, including phosphorus, calcium, iron, magnesium, and potassium as well as essential enzymes and 17 amino acids. Wheat grass is also overflowing with vitamins, and liver enzymes. [8]

The star of wheat grass’ nutritional makeup is 70 percent chlorophyll, a phytochemical that gives dark leafy greens their colour. [8] Chlorophyll is essentially the blood of plants and is high in oxygen; and in humans: the brain and all body tissues function at an optimal level in a highly-oxygenated environment.[4] It reverses aging, suppresses hunger, cleanses the blood, combats odour, [8] neutralizes infections, heals wounds, overcomes inflammations and gets rid of parasitic infections, blood purification, liver detoxification and colon cleansing, and has been linked to the prevention and anti of many diseases including cancer.  This is also because wheat grass juice is the richest source of vitamins A, B, C, E and K, calcium, potassium, iron, magnesium sodium, sulphur and 17 forms of amino acids. Wheat grass juice provides with more energy by fulfilling nutritional deficiencies and by removing wastes that clog your cells, blood, tissues and organs. [1]
